Financial infotainment site Minyanville has introduced a series of episodes called HOOFY AND BOO'S NEWS AND VIEWS -- the first-ever animated news show devoted to entertaining and educating audiences about the world of business.
Using motion capture animation, we create two short episodes a week. It's what THE DAILY SHOW's done for politics. It's what SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK did for reading, writing and arithmetic. Each episode explores a different topic -- anything from the rough and tumble world of corporate rivalry to the larger-than-life personalities of CEOs. And in each episode, Hoofy and Boo show that in today's world, business is stranger than life.
So, who are these guys? Meet Hoofy. He's the Wall Street Bull, full of bravado and optimism. Hoofy's never seen a deal he hasn't liked. Sitting next to him is Boo. He's the Wall Street Bear, cautious, dry, and just a little cynical. They're best friends, even if it that means they don't get along every step of the way.
Throughout the course of their weekly reports, we learn more than just weekly business news, we learn about who these guys are, and what makes them tick.
