HimAnI Productions Announces Latest VFX Work

HimAnI Productions, Inc., a boutique vfx design and production company co-founded by veteran vfx artists Kevin Kutchaver, an Emmy Award winner, and award-winning animator Kathy Zielinski, has announced its latest VFX projects, covering the gamut of film, TV and direct-to-DVD releases.

HimAnI Productions provided more than 50 VFX shots to the 20th Century Fox feature film MAX PAYNE, starring Mark Wahlberg. Kutchaver will serve as second unit director on the remake of the horror film THE CHILDREN OF THE CORN for the Sci-Fi Channel, under producer/director Donald P. Borchers. HimAnI will also provide all of the visual effects for the new CHILDREN OF THE CORN project.

In addition, HimAnI will create and produce more than 100 FX shots for the direct-to-home video DVD release of STARSHIP TROOPERS 3, for client Sony Pictures Home Ent. HimAnI is also currently producing an all-CG animated film entitled HIDE AND SEEK, written and directed by Zielinski. The stylized horror film depicts a "toy's nightmare."

Kutchaver is also the VFX Supervisor for the independent horror film DON'T LOOK UP, currently in post production. The film, from director Fruit Chan and writer Hideo Nakata, stars Henry Thomas (E.T.). The storyline of DON'T LOOK UP revolves around evil spirits that are released from old celluloid, causing a film crew in production on a new project to slowly go insane.
