ComingSoon.net reports via the official HIGHLANDER Facebook page that franchise star Christopher Lambert is in negotiations to join the cast of GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. The post did not reveal the character he is up for.
The cast already includes Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (GAMER) are directing.
Columbia Pictures will release the film on February 17, 2012.
