‘Hell’s Paradise’ English Dub to Premiere on Crunchyroll April 15

The action horror anime series follows convict Gabimaru on his quest to find the Elixir of Life and buy his freedom.

Crunchyroll has announced that the highly anticipated English dub for Hell’s Paradise will hit the streamer Saturday, April 15 at 1:30 PM PDT, with subsequent episodes released weekly. Adapted from the acclaimed manga created by Yuji Kaku, the action horror anime follows a convict as he competes on a quest for his freedom.

In the series, Gabimaru reigned as the strongest and most ruthless assassin in his village, but now finds himself on death row with only one way out-- retrieve the Elixir of Life from a sinister island. Longing for freedom, he accepts the challenge. But with fellow convicts vying for the same prize and demonic beasts lurking, how will Gabimaru and his handler, the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, survive this harrowing quest?

With ADR direction by Mike McFarland (Chainsaw Man; Attack on Titan; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), the English dub voice actors include:

Dates and casts for dubs in German, French, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, and Italian, are forthcoming.

Crunchyroll began its exclusive simulcast of Hell’s Paradise from Japan on April 1 and airs new episodes in Japanese with subtitles every Saturday at 8:30 AM PDT.

Animation is produced by MAPPA (Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association), the Japanese anime studio known for Attack on Titan Final SeasonJUJUTSU KAISEN, and Chainsaw Man, among others. Kaori Makita (Attack on Titan Final Season episodes 60 and 69) directed with series composition by Akira Kindaichi, character design by Kouji Hisaki, and music composed by Yoshiaki Dewa.
