VARIETY reports that Harrison Ford is in negotiations to join the cast of Jon Favreau’s adaptation of the graphic novel, COWBOYS AND ALIENS.
VARIETY reports that Harrison Ford is in negotiations to join the cast of Jon Favreau’s adaptation of the graphic novel, COWBOYS AND ALIENS. He would join lead Daniel Craig. DreamWorks and Universal are co-funding the project.
Written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof, the script follows groups of Apache Indians and settlers that have to put aside their differences and team up against a common alien enemy.
Production will begin this summer with DreamWorks set on July 29, 2011 for release.
Imagine Entertainment's Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are the producers alongside exec producers Steven Spielberg and Platinum Studios CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. Orci and Kurtzman will also serve as producers.
