Italian animation studio Gruppo Alcuni has concluded a new Free and Pay TV deal with the Polish Telewizja Puls for the series Leonardo and Pet Pals. The episodes are being broadcast on Puls 2 TV. The hit series Pet Pals continues to go from strength to strength, and season 2 of Leonardo is currently in production and will be ready for broadcast in Spring 2014.

The 3D animated Pet Pals is filled with magic, mystery and adventure. The series features Crow Witch, who has decided to cancel the past, erasing all traces of her humiliating defeats at the hands of the Pet Pals. The intrepid heroes discover an antidote to her spell and to create it they must embark upon an epic journey in search of mysterious ingredients, meeting with a whole host of wizards, witches and magical characters, and closely observing amazing natural phenomena and more along the way.

Leonardo (26 x 13’) is a boy just like all the others, but there is something very special about his way of doing things: playing with him is always lots of fun, with incredible inventions and breathtaking adventures. Each episode charts the creation of one of Leo’s inventions from start to finish and shows how the youngster is inspired by nature and his surroundings. As well as his two loyal friends, Lorenzo and Gioconda, Leonardo also has a group of rivals, headed by Laura and Gottardo who do their best to outdo him every chance they get.
