Former MTV marketing director Greg Baldwin has been appointed vice president, marketing and talent relations, Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI). Based in Los Angeles, Baldwin assumes responsibility for all of SPTI's promotional marketing and talent relations' activities in support of the company's three lines of business - licensing, international networks and international productions. Most recently, Baldwin served as the director, music marketing for MTV Networks in New York. In this capacity, Baldwin was responsible for promoting MTV and MTV2 off-line through marketing partnerships with music labels, retail outlets and artists' tours. Baldwin joined MTV Communications as a publicist in 1997, handling press relations for MTV2 and was later promoted to senior publicist. Sony Pictures Television's current programming includes the animated series JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES, HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON and DRAGON TALES and the upcoming animated projects SPIDER-MAN (MTV) and STUART LITTLE (HBO Family).
