Buce Timm, J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves shared their inspiration for the all-new reimagined animated series at Saturday’s DC Fandome; the next chapter of the Dark Night is coming soon to HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
At Saturday’s virtual fan-first experience “DC Fandome,” participants got a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind the next animated chapter of the Dark Knight, Batman: Caped Crusader. In a special video, produced for the event, executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves, along with co-executive producer James Tucker, shared early insights the upcoming all-new animated series and reimagining of the Batman mythology.

Batman: Caped Crusader is coming soon to HBO Max and Cartoon Network. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho.
