Gnomon Approved to Offer Financial Aid

Gnomon is now able to offer financial aid through Federal Student Aid. Students who are enrolled in the Certificate in High-end Computer Graphics Program on a full-time basis and are citizens of the U.S. may be eligible to receive Pell Grant and/or Stafford Loan financial assistance.

Its been a long road getting to this point, stated Gnomon director of Administration Kristin Bierschbach, but its been well worth it. We are very excited to be able to offer financial aid to our students. This should open our Certificate Program up to many students who couldnt otherwise afford it. Its already made a big difference to our in-coming fall class.

Pell Grants, administered by the U.S. Department of Education through participating institutions, provide a financial aid foundation to students with high financial need. The Federal Stafford Loan Program provides both subsidized and unsubsidized loans to students.

Current and prospective Certificate Students who are interested in applying for aid should call the Administration Office at 323/466-6663 and ask to speak to a financial aid advisor. Office hours are Monday _ Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
