Glimpse the Infamous Pirate Ship from Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Live-Action Series

The official ‘One Piece’ Twitter account has shared a peek at the ‘Going Merry,’ which will feature prominently in the new show coming to the streamer later this year.

The pirates are coming! The One Piece official Twitter has dropped a new key visual for the upcoming live-action adaptation series, giving fans a first glimpse at the infamous ship “Going Merry.”

The long-awaited live-action series One Piece is based on the hugely popular manga of the same name created by Eiichiro Oda. The series stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy; Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro; Emily Rudd as Nami; Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp; and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The cast also includes McKinley Belcher III; Morgan Davies; Aidan Scott; Vincent Regan; Jeff Ward; Craig Fairbrass; Langley Kirkwood; Celeste Loots; Alexander Maniatis; Ilia Isorelýs Paulino; Chioma Umeala; and Steven Ward.

Shueisha, Tomorrow Studios, and Netflix serve as production partners. Matt Owens and Steve Maeda write, executive produce, and showrun. Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements also executive produce.

The swashbuckling VFX were created by Barnstorm VFX, CoSA VFX, Goodbye Kansas, Ingenuity Studios, and Stargate Studios, with Eddie Bonin acting as VFX executive for Netflix.

One Piece, the anime series, is currently streaming on Netflix. The live-action series will set sail sometime this year.
