GLAS Animation Festival Unveils 2016 Competition Selections

Selections announced for Narrative, Non-Narrative, Graduate, Student and Commissioned Film competition categories.

The GLAS Animation Festival is on its way! After receiving over 1400 submissions we are pleased to announce the 65 Official Competition Selections. Categories include Narrative, Non-Narrative, Graduate, Undergraduate, and Commissioned Shorts.

Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for more additions to our special programs lineup as well as the selections for Children’s Competition, U.S. Competition, and International Showcase.

Attend all 4 days of and have access to all GLAS events with the Festival pass including all screenings, panels, workshops, installations, guest lectures, and parties!

Weekend Pass

Planning on coming on Saturday and Sunday only? Don’t worry. We have a weekend pass just for you. Weekend passes go on sale December 1st.

ASIFA Members

GLAS offers special pass discounts to ASIFA members and students. If you’re an ASIFA member you can enjoy 15 percent off festival passes.

Students

GLAS Animation Festival Passes are available to students for 20 percent off the original price.

Group Passes

Whether you’re a group of students, a team of friends, or office mates, GLAS offers a special 25 percent off festival passes for groups of five or more. Contact info@glasanimation.com (link sends e-mail) for more information or to book your group.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers at the GLAS Animation Festival will receive a festival pass permitting you to attend events in exchange for volunteering. Whether you are an animation lover, art advocate, or simply curious, volunteering is a great way to become involved in the festival and animation community. For students, it’s not only a great way to be involved but also to acquire additional school credit. Not to mention, it’ll be an experience to remember! To volunteer, send an email to our Volunteer Coordinator (link sends e-mail). Please include a letter of interest and resume.
