Genndy Tartakovsky Reacts to Golden Globe Nomination

“Hotel Transylvania” director Genndy Tartakovsky reacts to the Golden Globe nomination for his theatrical feature debut.

Hotel Transylvania director and 13-time Emmy nominee Genndy Tartakovsky is thrilled to receive a Golden Globe nomination for his theatrical feature debut:

"Seeing the audience reaction was amazing on its own and now this, it's too much really. Just from everything that's happened so far I feel like we're being watched over by some great Animators in the skies and they have shined good fortune upon us. I know it's a bit dramatic but it’s awesome!!"

Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, with five animated features receiving nominations: Disney/Pixar’s Brave, Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie (Disney), Sony’s Hotel Transylvania, DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians and Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph.

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
