GenArts to Unveil New Sapphire Plug-Ins at IBC

GenArts Inc announced that the IBC will mark important milestones for the company: the unveiling of the next version of Sapphire Plug-ins for Avid AVX 2.0, the availability of Sapphire Plug-ins v3.07 for 64-bit Discreet systems and the introduction of new managing director Anish Dhanda. The conference takes place in Amsterdam from Sept. 9-13.

Visitors will see the latest Sapphire Plug-ins for Adobe After Effects and Premiere, Discreet Combustion, Apple Shake and Final Cut Pro, and Avid. They will also get a sneak peek at the upcoming release of Sapphire Plug-ins version 2.0 for Avid, planned for delivery later this year. Demonstrations of the new release running on Avid Xpress Pro HD will feature significant usability enhancements, new effects, additional functionality, faster rendering and support for 16-bit processing. In addition, GenArts will be promoting its recently released Sapphire Plug-ins v3.07 for 64-bit Discreet systems, which increases performance, enables customers to use Sapphire in larger projects and fully utilizes large-memory systems.

Meanwhile, Dhanda is focused on growing the company by driving further adoption of GenArts products in existing and new markets. He joins GenArts most recently from New Tilt, where he was svp/cto, responsible for designing and delivering technology strategies to companies in diverse industries that resulted in significant growth of the company. Prior to New Tilt, he founded netNumina (acquired by Keane Inc.), and held executive consulting and management positions at technology companies. He holds seats on the Advisory Boards of New Tilt and SonicBids, and serves on the Board of Trustees at the CBR Institute for Biomedical Research.

GenArts ceo/founder Karl Sims noted, Were really pleased to have Anish on board to drive the next phase of GenArts growth. His track record for growing companies through innovation fits perfectly with our philosophy. He is enthusiastic about our products, and looking forward to connecting with customers at IBC.
