Louis C.K. and Albert Brooks are co-creating, co-writing and providing the two lead voices for an untitled animated pilot for FX, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The FX animated comedy marks the latest collaboration for C.K. and Brooks, who have leading voice roles in Illumination Entertainment’s forthcoming feature, The Secret Life of Pets. Details for the half-hour animated project are still under wraps, but C.K. and Brooks will voice two of the lead roles and executive produce.

The as-yet-to-be titled series is the first television project for Brooks, who previously lent his voice to Marlin the clownfish in Pixar’s Finding Nemo, and is set to reprise his role in Finding Dory, due in theaters in June. The Oscar-winning Brooks has also voiced several recurring guest roles for The Simpsons, including Russ Cargill in The Simpsons Movie, and provided the voice of The Businessman in Mark Osborne’s 2015 adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince.

The new pilot is to be produced by FX Productions and C.K.'s Pig Newton banner.
