ftrack Announces Adobe Creative Cloud Integration

Project management platform now includes native integration support for Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effects CC; live demonstrations to be held at NAB 2016.

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- ftrack’s project management platform is to include support for a selection of Adobe Creative Cloud products. This connectivity between ftrack and Adobe will offer a newly streamlined user experience for creatives.

The first native integration is available now for Adobe Photoshop CC. Support for Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe After Effects CC will arrive in Q2 2016.

ftrack’s toolset will work seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC and Adobe Photoshop CC, offering feature-rich tools for improved collaboration.

Thanks to the new ftrack integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC and Adobe Photoshop CC, users can now enjoy the following features:

Instantly access project management: Gain a simplified overview of your assigned tasks from a native-looking ftrack panel. You can browse and drill down to any project available in ftrack, making design-based project management a breeze.

Create projects and tasks: Create entities directly from supported applications, without the need to set up projects in ftrack.

Dive into details: Easily access task information, notes and published files. Import tracked files from ftrack or share notes.

Easy review workflows: Share your work with a press of a button, sending it directly to frack’s production-proven online client review platform.

Publish your work online: Publish your work to ftrack’s cloud platform directly from supported applications. ftrack supports a broad range of storage options, including your own file system.

Collaboration on the go: Use the ftrack Go app to follow your projects even when away from the desk. ftrack’s powerful cloud-based solutions, combined with the simplicity of a smartphone, empowers you with always-on project management.

“ftrack is a tool purpose-built for the creative industries, so having it integrate seamlessly and natively within Photoshop was a natural next step for us,” comments ftrack CEO Fredrik Limsäter. “Now designers, architects, advertisers, photographers and more can utilise the creative project management solutions of ftrack, ensuring that their projects are delivered within budget and on time, no matter how large they may be.”

“Having a project management solution like ftrack working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC and Adobe Photoshop CC adds value for content creators and video pros, giving them a birds-eye view of their projects,” adds Sue Skidmore, head of partner relations for Pro Video at Adobe. “Users can see what has been completed and collaborate efficiently with their team as they guide their projects to the finish line.”

ftrack and cineSync come together

ftrack is set to integrate directly with Cospective’s Academy Award-winning remote review and approval solution cineSync.

This seamless integration will allow users of the upcoming cineSync 4.0 to browse and load media playlists directly from within ftrack. Users can invite guests to reviews without needing to share the media in advance, and without leaving easily accessible copies of the media on the recipient’s file system.

“The new integration with cineSync 4.0 builds upon past work that ties these ftrack and cineSync’s collaborative solutions together,” Limsäter says. “Now users can expect an even more streamlined experience, enabling faster, streamlined real-time review.”

The Adobe and cineSync integrations will be demonstrated at NAB 2016 in Las Vegas, April 18-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Booth #SL14913
