Free Up Screening in Hartford, Connecticut

The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, Connecticut will be hosting a free sneak peak of Disney-Pixar's UP on Saturday, May 9.

This special screening will take place in the Wadsworth's Aetna Theater at 2:00 pm. Admission to the film is on a first come, first served basis, so early arrival is recommended. Doors open at 1:00 pm and visitors are asked to enter through the Avery Lobby.

The film will be introduced by Donald Evans, Senior Vice President of Animation Marketing for Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios and former West Hartford native.

The Wadsworth is located at 600 Main St. in Hartford, Connecticut. The museum is open Wednesdays to Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please visit www.wadsworthatheneum.org.

In addition to the film, families can also take advantage of the museum's Family ArtPacks, which encourage personal creativity and independent adventures into the galleries through looking, drawing, and hands-on activities, available in the Main Lobby. Museum visitors can also enjoy the creativity of Hartford's youth during the 36th annual Hartford Youth Art Renaissance exhibition, which opens May 9th. The show will include works by Hartford students grades K-12.
