Frederator’s Cartoon Hangover Reaches YouTube Milestone

Frederator Studios’ Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel surpasses one million subscribers, becoming the second-fastest original funded YouTube channel to do so in its first 12 months.

Frederator Studios’ Cartoon Hangover YouTube channel has surpassed one million subscribers, according to a report by Kidscreen, becoming the second-fastest original funded YouTube channel to do so in its first 12 months.

The milestone comes on the heels of a major programming push this past fall, which saw the debut of animated series SuperF*ckers and Bee and PuppyCat in addition to a new season of Bravest Warriors.

Since its launch in November 2012, the channel has generated more than 17 million unique viewers and more than 72 million programming views. Frederator Studios and its CEO Fred Seibert, whose executive producing credits include Adventure Time and The Fairly OddParents, also recently secured roughly $870,000 in funding from a Kickstarter campaign to create a series based on the Bee & PuppyCat short.

Frederator will look maintain its momentum with new programming that will be introduced throughout the first part of 2014.
