Framestore Names Arek Komorowski VFX Supervisor

VFX veteran heads to Vancouver, where he’ll guide the studio’s creative and technical efforts.

Framestore has named Arek Komorowski as VFX supervisor at its Vancouver studio, where he will work with top directors to determine the best creative and technical approaches for producing visual effects. Having most recently served in the role at Pixomondo, the industry veteran brings over 20+ years of industry experience. His latest projects included Roland Emmerich's sci-fi movie Moonfall.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming Arek to Framestore,” shared Naomi Stopa, Head of Studio, Vancouver. “Arek is a highly talented and creative mind, and he joins us as we grow and strengthen our Vancouver team. I look forward to having him as a strategic partner, bringing his extensive experience of successfully leading large and complex projects for the world’s biggest studios to guide our team to deliver extraordinary images and support our clients’ vision.”

Before Pixomondo, Komorowski was at Scanline VFX, working on titles such as Terminator: Dark Fate, Black Panther, and Aquaman. I look forward to the variety of creative challenges that the projects at Framestore will bring. Working at Framestore is also a great opportunity to learn from the studio’s vast expertise, from its world-class talent team and experts to its cutting-edge technologies.”
