FMX's first online edition, running May 4-6, will showcase innovative projects, inspiring personalities, and creative trends, creating a space for participants to connect with an international community of experts and industry talents. The conference will feature presentations, workshops and Q&As and networking opportunity with media creators from all over the world.
Here are some highlights for the opening day. May 4:
- Keynote by Florian Gellinger (RISE) - Highlighting this year’s FMX theme ReImagine Tomorrow, Florian Gellinger will give a keynote on how the internationally acclaimed VFX studio RISE | Visual Effects Studios evolved from a creative services provider into a content creator studio by co-producing animated and live-action content for the big and small screen through RISE Pictures, its film and TV production company
- “State of the VFX Industry” with Christian Bohm and Paolo Tamburrino (Pixomondo)
- “Cinema of the Future” with Doug Trumbull, President, Trumbull Ventures
- “After the dominoes have fallen: Where do we go from here?” with Kathleen Maher (JPR), Jon Peddie (JPR), Manne Ohrstrom (Framestore), Sam Nicholson (Stargate Studios), Mathieu Mazerolle (Foundry), Paul Salvini (DNEG) - Tech leaders and visionaries in content creation talk about the new practices adopted and how they are changing the way entertainment is being produced.
