First Poster Revealed for ‘Agent Elvis’ Animated Series

Originally called ‘Agent King,’ Sony Pictures Animation and Netflix’s adult animated action-comedy follows the infamous rock and roller, now re-imagined as an undercover spy.

Oh, honey mamma baby honey! Sony Pictures Animation took to Twitter over the weekend to reveal the first look poster for its upcoming adult animated action-comedy series Agent Elvis, formerly called Agent King. Check out the all new 2D King of Rock & Roll now:

Netflix has teamed with Priscilla Presley, John Eddie, Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures Television and Authentic Brands Group on the project, which follows Elvis Presley as he trades in his white jumpsuit for a jet pack in a secret government spy program to help battle dark forces in defense of his country; all without quitting his day job.

Priscilla Presley commented, “From the time Elvis was a young boy, he always dreamed of being the superhero fighting crime and saving the world!” Presley’s dream will now be realized for all to see, in glorious 2D animation.

Priscilla Presley and John Eddie will serve as co-creators and executive producers on the series, with Jerry Schilling acting as consultant. Mike Arnold (Archer) is showrunner, writer, and executive producer, while Fletcher Moules acts as supervising director and co-executive producer.  Legendary designer, John Varvatos, will create Elvis’ entire wardrobe for the series and serve as a consulting producer. Authentic Brands Group’s Jamie Salter will serve as executive producer; Marc Rosen and Corey Salter will serve as co-executive producers.

A release date has not yet been set for Netflix’s Agent Elvis.
