First ‘Paddington’ Teaser Unveiled

The first teaser trailer and a new poster are unveiled for TWC-Dimension’s CGI/live-action hybrid film Paddington.

The first teaser trailer for TWC-Dimension’s CGI/live-action hybrid film Paddington was released today, along with a new movie poster.

Paddington is the first film adaptation of author Michael Bond's long-running series of children's books that first debuted in 1958. It tells the story of a little bear from Peru who ends up alone at the Paddington Railway Station in London. He's discovered by the Browns, who take him in and name him after the place where they found him.

The new teaser takes viewers from the jungles of Peru to London, England in under a minute. The most viewers see in the brief clip of the loveable floppy-hatted bear is him peeking out from the top of a bag at the end, in front of a Lost and Found at London's Paddington Station:

Colin Firth voices Paddington. Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Nicole Kidman, Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent also star. Paul King (Come Fly With Me, The Mighty Boosh) directs. The U.K.’s Framestore is handling VFX.

Paddington hits theaters in the U.K. on November 28 and the U.S. on December 12.
