First Full-Length Trailer for Blue Sky’s ‘Ferdinand’ Arrives

Inspired by the beloved book ‘The Story of Ferdinand’ by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson, the forthcoming CG-animated feature from director Carlos Saldanha charges into theaters on December 15.

20th Century Fox has released the first full-length trailer and a new poster for Ferdinand, the forthcoming animated feature from Blue Sky Studios!

Directed by Carlos Saldanha (Rio), Ferdinand tells the story of a giant bull with a big heart. After being mistaken for a dangerous beast, he is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Set in Spain, Ferdinand proves you can’t judge a bull by its cover.

The new trailer introduces John Cena in the titular role, running through Ferdinand’s gentle upbringing and flower-sniffing predilections before the giant bull is abruptly captured from a flower market and forced into the ring:

The CG-animated Ferdinand charges into theaters on December 15, 2017.
