Festival Stop Motion Montreal Reveals Official Poster

The 14th edition returns in-person this September as a weekend gathering and celebration at Concordia University featuring workshops, exhibitions, and almost 10 hours of film content.

The 14th edition of the Festival Stop Motion Montreal Montreal welcomes festival goers back into theaters at Concordia University this September 16-18.

Festival director Dominique Côté notes that Canadian talent will be in the spotlight for this year’s reunion edition; a reunion of talent, residents, and visiting guests, the event will showcase the determination of the creators who have persevered during the challenges of the pandemic and successfully brought their productions to the big screen.

Trois-Rivières-based stop-motion animator Suzie Bergeron designed the official poster (see full poster below) for this year’s festival. Bergeron’s work has appeared at festivals, exhibition halls, and even under the Montreal Planetarium dome.

Ahead of revealing the full schedule, the festival team has announced the return of stop-motion workshops for all skill levels, exhibitions, behind-the-scenes treats, and nearly 10 hours of film content.
