We can always count on FOX to wrap up our week with a smile – this time with an exclusive peek at a new episode of HouseBroken, coming our way this weekend. So, pull up a chair, grab your emotional support dog/cat (or person), and check it out – it’s time for a little group therapy.
In the all-new episode, Honey attempts to cure Diablo’s irrational fear of basement monsters, and she puts the whole group in jeopardy. Chico and The Gray One follow Kevin onto a plane to get to the bottom of why Kevin always abandons Chico. And Chief faces off against the loud barking dog in the sky, more commonly known as thunder. Don’t miss “Who’s A Scaredy Cat?” Sunday, April 2 (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In the series, Honey (Lisa Kudrow), a standard poodle, opens her living room for the group to come and support each other through the misery, mayhem, and majesty that is being a pet. Honey also struggles with her own problems, such as her arranged (by her human) marriage with Chief (Nat Faxon), a sloppy St. Bernard who enjoys eating socks and licking himself. The group includes Shel (Will Forte), a sex-positive tortoise with intimacy issues and a knack for choosing unconventional partners; Tabitha (Sharon Horgan, who also executive produces), an aging Persian cat beauty queen, trying to adjust to life off the cat show circuit; The Gray One (Jason Mantzoukas), a street smart cat who lives with about thirty other cats and has his one eye on Tabitha; Chico ( Sam Richardson), a chonky, co-dependent and very naive cat; and the group’s newest member, Diablo (Tony Hale), an anxious, sweater-wearing terrier whose OCD causes him to hump everything twice.
In the exclusive clip, “Chief Builds a Boat to Face the Barking Dog in the Sky,” in a bid to help get Chief to higher ground to confront “thunder,” the group builds a boat. But, as they say, “The best-laid plans of mice and men (dogs??) often go awry.”
Guest cast includes Bresha Webb as Nibbles (Mirror Nibbles); Maria Bamford as Jill/Small Fun Raccoon/Pilot; Timothy Simons as Raccoon; Jess Harnell as Nic Cage; and Melanie Lynskey as Pinky.
