Exclusive Clip: ‘The Great North – The Tobin Family Visits the Log Museum’

In the all-new episode airing April 10 on FOX, Moon incurs Debbie’s wrath; meanwhile Beef Is determined to save his favorite museum from shutting down.

It’s Friday, and in the AWN universe it usually means one thing… the day will end with a happy hour toast, often alongside a plate of charcuterie and something small, odd shaped, and fried. But on really, really special Fridays we get treated to something equally tasty earlier in the day! And this is one of those remarkable days, because FOX has shared another exclusive clip from an upcoming Sunday episode of The Great North; this time, it’s this Sunday’s episode: “Dead Moon Walking Adventure.”

In the all-new episode, after seeing something he shouldn't have, Moon incurs Debbie’s wrath. Meanwhile, Beef is determined to save his favorite museum from being closed down. Check it out Sunday, April 10 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Animated by Bento Box Entertainment and produced by 20th Television, the adult 2D animated comedy series hails from Loren Bouchard, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin, the genius minds behind Bob’s Burgers.

The Great North follows the Alaskan adventures of the Tobin family. As a single dad, Beef (Nick Offerman, Parks and Recreation, Making It), does his best to keep his bunch of kids close – especially his only daughter, Judy (Jenny Slate, Bob’s Burgers), whose artistic dreams lead her away from the family fishing boat and into the glamorous world of the local mall. Rounding out the family are Judy’s older brother, Wolf (Will Forte, The Last Man on Earth); his fiancé, Honeybee (Dulcé Sloan, The Daily Show); Judy’s middle brother, Ham (Paul Rust, Love); and ten-year-old-going-on-fifty little brother, Moon (Aparna Nancherla, A Simple Favor). While the children’s mother is not in the picture, Judy seeks guidance from her new boss, Alyson (Megan Mullally, Will & Grace), and her imaginary friend, Alanis Morissette (guest-voicing as herself), who appears to her in the Northern Lights.

Guest cast includes Tim Bagley as Principal Gibbons; Nicole Byer as Woman and Coach Kiely; Wyatt Cenac as Dr. Gary; John Early as Henry; John Gemberling as Russell; Patti Harrison as Debbie; Missi Pyle; and Jenny Yang.

In the exclusive clip, the Tobin family visits the Log Museum and discovers Dad jokes can quickly devolve into “Log” jokes – also watch for my favorite, the googly eyed portrayals of ‘Stick Jagger’ and ‘Forest Stump.’ Enjoy!

The series was created, written and executive-produced by Bob’s Burgers’ writers and executive producers Molyneux and Molyneux-Logelin, as well as writer Minty Lewis (Regular Show). The Molyneux sisters serve as showrunners. Bob’s Burgers creator Bouchard is also an executive producer.
