EVPs Bronwen O’Keefe and Lee Ann Chmielewski-Larsen Out at Nickelodeon

Latest executive departures signal corporate restructuring that included naming of new studio president earlier this week is far from over.

More executive shuffling is afoot at Nickelodeon as EVPs Bronwen O’Keefe and Lee Ann Chmielewski-Larsen have been let go, according to Deadline. The moves reportedly were made prior to the announcement earlier this week of Brian Robbins as Nickelodeon president, a position left vacant when 30-year Nickelodeon veteran Cyma Zarghami left the company this past June.

O’Keefe, a 20-year Nickelodeon veteran, had been promoted to her role of EVP, live action and movies, Nickelodeon Group, this past January. Chmielewski-Larsen, EVP of production, Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group the past two years, was a 27-year studio veteran. It is not known if these moves are related to any planned company layoffs – Viacom CEO Bob Bakish’s February 2017 reorganization plan has seen many executives leaving the company as well as hundreds of layoffs designed to cut costs.
