Entertainment Rights Expands Sales Team

Entertainment Rights (ER) is one of the fastest growing independent global media groups specializing in children's and family entertainment, recently recruited three new territory managers to bolster its strong international sales team. These include Gillian Calvert for Scandinavia and Benelux, Karen Vermeulen for Germany and U.K. and Leila Ouledcheikhfor Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Each territory manager is responsible for managing and driving distribution of ER's catalogue as effectively as possible in their specified countries and oversee the rollout of owned brands and third party programming across all media where applicable including TV, DVD, Video and L&M.

Calvert joins ER from Sullivan Entertainment Europe, where she was sales manager. With a background in entertainment programming and new business development, Gillian has been recruited as a territory manager for Scandinavia and Benelux.

Vermeulen joins from Technicolor, where she was an account manager responsible for handling Buena Vista Home Entertainment across the U.K, Benelux, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. She will be ERs territory manager for Germany and U.K. Television.

Ouledcheikh joins ER as territory manager for responsible for Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously she was with HIT Entertainment for the past three years, looking after pre-school brands such as Bob the Builder, Pingu, Barney and Thomas the Tank Engine.
