Enanimation Announces Distribution Deal for ‘Nina & Olga’

Rai Ragazzi pre-acquires Season 1 of preschool series based on popular children’s book series by Nicoletta Costa.

Italian animation studio, Enanimation, has announced a distribution agreement with Rai Ragazzi, for Season 1 of Nina & Olga. The series is based on the popular preschool book series “Olga the Cloud,” which the studio acquired development rights to in 2019.

Rai Ragazzi, a producer and broadcaster of children’s programming, has pre-acquired the first season of Nina & Olga, a 52x7 2D animated series, for children ages from 4-6-years. The company is owned and operated by Radiotelevisione Italiana (RAI), the national broadcasting company of Italy, a major European public broadcaster and a key player in international children’s TV.

Nina & Olga will feature a new character, Nina, a special friend of Olga’s who helps her cope with everyday challenges. A colorful world of children, parents, grannies and teachers, not to mention animals, birds, the sun, the moon and the stars, all come together as part of Nina & Olga’s daily adventures.

Writer and illustrator, Nicoletta Costa’s creation, “Olga the Cloud,” has been a global publishing success for over 30 years. Popular worldwide, the series has had particular success in China, Russia, Spain and the U.S. offering numerous opportunities for distribution and development.
