After receiving rave reviews for her performance in EASY A, Emma Stone has become a hot commodity around Hollywood. Variety reports that she is up for roles in both the SPIDER-MAN reboot and 21 JUMP STREET feature.

For SPIDER-MAN, she joins the list of actresses, which includes Lily Collins, Teresa Palmer and Mia Wasikowska, vying for the roles of Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson. Rumors have Stone up for the Gwen Stacy role, which is said to be the more prominent female role in the reboot. She would star alongside NEVER LET ME GO standout Andrew Garfield who will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Marc Webb ((500) DAYS OF SUMMER) is directing from a script by James Vanderbilt.

She's also up for one of the two female roles in 21 JUMP STREET. Actor Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall devised the concept for the film, which Bacall is writing. Phil Lord (CLOUDY WITH THE CHANCE OF MEATBALLS) is the director.
