Election-Inspired Animations Created With GoAnimate.com

GoAnimate.com has formed a content-based partnership with THE DAILY SHOW Co-Creator Lizz Winstead. Using GoAnimate.com software, Winstead will write and produce election-inspired animations for upcoming episodes of Shoot The Messenger, a NYC based comedy troupe starring members from THE DAILY SHOW, Air America Radio, National Lampoon, Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, and THE HUFFINGTON POST.

Winstead said, "The software eliminates the need to be an artist or a computer person, you just need an idea. GoAnimate.com is an amazing Web site that allows me to express my political commentary and observations and, at the same time, help cultivate a new generation of comedic talent who can use the software to branch into an area of expression to which few have had access."

Using GoAnimate.com, available to all for free on GoAnimate.com, Winstead will write and produce animations that will be featured in Shoot The Messenger performances and webcasts beginning now and continuing through the November elections. All animations will also run on GoAnimate.com, THE HUFFINGTON POST, Lizzwinstead.com, and Shootthemessengernyc.com.

Additionally, during the Republican National Convention, Winstead's GoAnimate.com animations will be shown continuously on jumbo screens in three separate locations including Protest Park, just down the road from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, where the RNC is being held from September 1-4.
