The newest addition to VFX house Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies brings decades of film and TV experience on shows like ‘Hellboy’ and ‘Grimm.’
Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies (MARZ) VFX has announced the addition of Edward Irastorza to its creative team. Starting as a visual effects coordinator in 1995, the award-winning industry veteran has served as a visual effects supervisor and/or producer for projects such as Hellboy (2004), Grimm (2011-2017) and Pan's Labyrinth (2006). Irastorza recently served as a visual effect’s consultant on the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Morning Show.
“I absolutely love MARZ’s ability to deliver feature-film quality on TV timelines,” commented Irastorza. “I think it’s an amazing opportunity for me and a game changer in the television visual effects industry.”
“We’re thrilled to add Edward to the MARZ family,” MARZ co-president Lon Molnar added. “He brings extensive experience as a VFX supervisor and producer in this industry, which is invaluable to our young company. We’re proud to welcome him as a respected member of an already outstanding team and look forward to the value he’ll bring to our clients in L.A. and beyond.”
Irastorza joins MARZ as an executive producer – he will represent the VFX house with business development and client relations within the Los Angeles area.
