Pathe has sold the U.K. and Canadian right for animated feature GNOMEO AND JULIET to E1 Entertainment, reports VARIETY. E1 plans to release the film in those territories in February, which will coincide with Touchstone's release in the States on Feb. 11.
The garden gnome take on the Shakespearean romance is being produced by Rocket Pictures' David Furnish and Steve Hamilton Shaw and Disney's Baker Bloodworth.
Voice cast includes James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Michael Caine, Maggie Smith, Stephen Merchant, Ozzy Osbourne, Jason Statham and Matt Lucas. Exec producer Sir Elton John wrote the music with partner Bernie Taupin.
