‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Pic Adds ‘Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page

The breakout star joins Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Justice Smith in Paramount and eOne's highly anticipated fantasy table-top game adaption penned by Johnathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

The hunks keep rolling in to join Dungeons & Dragons! Breakout Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page has nabbed an undisclosed leading role in the upcoming table-top fantasy film, joining the already established cast of Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith. Thanks for all the eye candy, Paramount and eOne!

Despite all roles remaining a mystery, it’s clear casting has kicked off on a fantastic start. Rodriguez can kick gnome ass in her sleep, Pine has a silver tongue perfect for any bard, and Page’s smolder can stop any enemy in their tracks.

Johnathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, known for their team-ups on Spider-Man: Homecoming and Horrible Bosses, will direct and pen the script. Dungeons & Dragons is set for a 2022 release.

Continuing the serious nerd takeover, after being glorified in Stranger Things, granting its revival within the newest generation of children (and adults), plus heading to the big screen, the game is also being adapted into a series; The Hollywood Reporter recently broke the news that John Wick writer Derek Kolstad has been selected to pen a pitch for a live-action D&D TV show, although any plot information is still firmly under wraps.
