'DreamWorks Dragons' Land on Teletoon

The new animated series inspired by the DreamWorks Animation film “How To Train Your Dragon” premieres Saturday, November 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.


Toronto, Ontario – TELETOON presents the Canadian premiere of the high-flying series DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk on Saturday, November 3 with episodes one and two airing back-to-back starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series will be preceded by the DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. Academy Award®-nominated film How To Train Your Dragon at 6 p.m. ET/PT, which serves as the backdrop to this new animated series. Following the premiere of the first two episodes, the series will assume its regular weekly spot on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT beginning November 8 with episode three.

DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk follows the continuing adventures of Hiccup and his dragon Toothless on the Viking island of Berk, along with the band of dragon trainers, all of whom now have dragons of their own. Through their training, the kids develop special bonds with their dragons by learning about each dragon’s unique powers, discovering entirely new species and battling against new villains as they explore whole new worlds they never dreamed existed.


The series features an all-star line-up of voice talent, including Jay Baruchel (Hiccup), America Ferrera (Astrid), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fishlegs) and T.J. Miller (Tuffnut), all of whom are original cast members from the feature film. In addition, Tim Conway (Mulch), Chris Edgerly (Gobber), Mark Hamill (Alvin), Julie Marcus (Ruffnut), Nolan North (Stoick), Zack Pearlman (Snotlout), Stephen Root (Mildew) and Tom Wilson (Bucket) voice main characters throughout the series.


DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk is produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. Art Brown and Douglas Sloan are show runners. The series is co-executive produced by Sandra Rabins. Anthony Bell serves as supervising director.
