DreamWorks Animation Drops ‘Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight’ Official Trailer

Jack Black and James Hong reprise their roles as Po and his father, Mr. Ping, in the CG animated series coming to Netflix on July 14.

DreamWorks Animation and Netflix has finally debuted the official trailer and key art for the all-new series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. Jack Black reprises his role as Po, joined by James Hong, also reprising his role as Po’s father, Mr. Ping. Rita Ora is introduced as Wandering Blade. The upcoming CG animated series, the latest from the hugely popular Kung Fu Panda franchise, hits the streamer on July 14.

In the series, a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons. Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.

Additional cast members include Chris Geere as Klaus Dumont; Della Saba as Veruca Dumont; Rahnuma Panthaky as Rukhmini; Ed Weeks as Colin and Amy Hill as Pei Pei. Black, Peter Hastings, and Shaunt Nigoghossian executive produce, with Chris Amick and Ben Mekler serving as co-executive producers. DreamWorks Animation produces the animation.
