Barcelona, 23 September 2011: Imira Entertainment, Spain’s leading production and distribution company specialising in youth programming, Enne Entertainment Studios and Spanish broadcaster RTVE are pleased to announce that DQ Entertainment has joined as co-production partner on new 3D animated series Escape Hockey.
Aimed at 6-12 year olds and created by Enne Entertainment Studios, Escape Hockey (26x26’) www.escapehockey.com is a blend of comedy and space adventure that tells the story of Dan, who is abducted along with his friends to the planet named Plutonium. The only way for him to go back home is to win the great Escape Hockey Tournament, the biggest sporting event in the galaxy, where the most dangerous inmates battle it out for the ultimate prize. Their freedom!
The series will be produced in the innovative “Watch & Play” format that combines animation with videogames that are integrated in each chapter allowing kids real-time interactivity. This format, developed and registered by ENNE, will be available on all internet connected devices. Broadcasters will be able to engage with audiences not only in their regular programming but also via content available on their online platforms. This will help maximize the interactive potential of the web offering including socialization and community creation around the series.
Imira is handling worldwide sales for the series, and will be showcasing it at MIPCOM.
