‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Coming to Disney+

The streamer drops new online spot with Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, and Elizabeth Olsen, thanking fans and announcing that the mystical allies will join forces again… in your living room; Marvel Studios’ latest MCU outing, with all its ‘strangeness,’ streams June 22.

The MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary. Now, Doctor Strange and his array of selves and oddities come home to stream June 22 on Disney+.

Wrangled by production VFX supervisor Janek Sirrs, the film’s visual effects companies includes Capital T, Crafty Apes, Digital Domain, Framestore, ILM, Luma Picture, Perception, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Trixter, and Wētā FX.

Sam Raimi directed, with Kevin Feige producing. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll, Scott Derrickson, and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. Michael Waldron wrote the screenplay.

Watch the new online spot to see a special “fan thank you” from the movie’s stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, and Xochitl Gomez. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.
