Disney XD Picks Up Kung Fu Magoo Feature

Classic Media, a global media company with a portfolio of some of the world’s leading family entertainment brands, announced today that the animated feature, Kung Fu Magoo, starring the iconic Quincy Magoo and the voice talents Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Kenny Mayne, Chris Parnell, and Alyson Stoner, will make its broadcast debut on the Disney Channel’s Disney XD Channel in key markets across the U.S., Germany, and Italy.

LONDON, UK/NEW YORK, NY (October 11, 2010)—Classic Media, a global media company with a portfolio of some of the world’s leading family entertainment brands, announced today that the animated feature, Kung Fu Magoo, starring the iconic Quincy Magoo and the voice talents Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Kenny Mayne, Chris Parnell, and Alyson Stoner, will make its broadcast debut on the Disney Channel’s Disney XD Channel in key markets across the U.S., Germany, and Italy.

Kung Fu Magoo, produced by Anima Estudios, Santo Domingo Films, and Classic Media, is the first new Mr. Magoo® production in more than thirty years. In the feature, follow Mr. Magoo with his nephew, Justin, as they dodge giant robotic spiders and jet ski ninjas in a wild kung fu style competition. Mr. Magoo competes against the world’s most notorious villains in the “Evil-lympics” tournament, and it’s up to Justin to help his uncle stay in the game and avoid danger at every turn—the fate of the world depends on Mr. Magoo in Kung Fu Magoo!

The film’s voice cast features actor Dylan Sprouse (Justin Magoo), actor Cole Sprouse (Brad Landry), actress Alyson Stoner (Lorelei Tan-Gu), ESPN sports commentator Kenny Mayne (as himself), and “Saturday Night Live” alumnus/actor Chris Parnell (Cole Fusion).
