Disney Treasures War Toons & More on DVD

The WALT DISNEY TREASURES collectible DVD series continues with WAVE 3 on Dec. 2, 2003. The four new, separate, two-disc sets (Walt Disney Home Entertainment, $32.99 each) include: WALT DISNEY ON THE FRONT LINES (featuring exclusive declassified material from World War II-themed productions); MICKEY MOUSE IN LIVING COLOR (VOLUME TWO); THE CHRONOLOGICAL DONALD; and WALT DISNEYS TOMORROWLAND. Each volume is fully restored and introduced by historian Leonard Maltin.

Included in WALT DISNEY ON THE FRONT LINES are recently declassified material and rare training, propaganda and educational films created during the period beginning December 8, 1941 when the Disney Studios were dedicated to supporting the war effort, .as well as the 60-year-old feature VICTORY THROUGH AIR POWER. MICKEY MOUSE covers 21 shorts from 1939 to 1995. THE CHRONOLOGICAL DONALD presents a first-ever compilation of all 36 Donald Duck shorts from 1936 (Donald and Pluto) to 1941 (Chef Donald). WALT DISNEYS TOMORROWLAND presents Walts historic TV shows on outer space and space travel.
