Disney + Shares MCU’s ‘Secret Invasion’ Trailer and Poster

Last night, during ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, the streamer treated fans to a look at the new live-action espionage thriller starring Samuel Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, and Martin Freeman, premiering this June.

Yesterday, during ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, fans were treated to a look at the trailer for Marvel Studios’ new live-action espionage thriller, Secret Invasion, coming to Disney+ in June. In case you missed it – check out the trailer below. We have the poster too!

In the all-new series, set in the present-day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth, as they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.

The show stars Samuel L. Jackson; Ben Mendelsohn; Cobie Smulders; Martin Freeman; Kingsley Ben-Adir; Charlayne Woodard; Killian Scott; Samuel Adewunmi; Dermot Mulroney; Christopher McDonald; and Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke; Olivia Colman; and Don Cheadle.

Ali Selim directs and executive-produces with fellow executive producers Kevin Feige; Jonathan Schwartz; Louis D’Esposito; Victoria Alonso; Brad Winderbaum; Samuel L. Jackson; Ali Selim; Kyle Bradstreet; and Brian Tucker. Bradstreet is also the head writer, and Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.

The series' visual effects are created by MARZ, One of Us, and Zoic Studios under the guidance of Production VFX Supervisor Kevin Rafferty.

The series was first announced by Feige back in December 2020, at a Disney's Investor Day presentations, touting Jackson's Nick Fury and Mendelsohn's Talos, characters who first met in Captain Marvel, in "the crossover comic event series [that] showcases a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years."

Clark's involvement in the series was first announced in 2021, along with Ben-Adir and Colman's.
