Disney Junior celebrates Halloween with themed episodes of hit series Sofia the First, Jake and The Never Land Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and popular short-form series Minnie's Bow-Toons.
Disney Junior celebrates Halloween with themed episodes of hit series Sofia the First, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and popular short-form series Minnie's Bow-Toons premiering throughout the month of October. Mickey Mouse's legendary rival Mortimer Mouse will make a special appearance in a 45-minute superhero-themed episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18 (9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
For the second year, families are invited to visit DisneyJunior.com/Halloween where parents can upload videos of their child explaining and acting out what he or she wants to be for Halloween for a chance to be shown on air. The videos will be selected at random and will be shown every Friday on Disney Channel and Disney Junior throughout the month of October.
Following are the programming highlights for Disney Junior's Halloween:
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4
9:25 a.m. – Minnie's Bow-Toons “Tricky Treats” – When Minnie's famous “Sticky Tricky Treats” are ruined, she must figure out a way to save Halloween and bring joy to all the trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood.
10:30 a.m. – Henry Hugglemonster “The Halloween Scramble/Scout’s Night Out” – When a big gust of wind threatens to ruin Roarsville's annual Halloween parade, Henry volunteers to help and saves the day. Then Henry helps his friend Denzel overcome his fears after Daddo tells a spooky story during the Monster Scouts camping trip.
11:00 a.m. – Jake and the Never Land Pirates “Misty's Magical Mix-Up!/Bones' Lucky Doubloon” – Jake and crew help the Pirate Princess (voiced by Tori Spelling) and Misty the Wonderful Witch (voiced by Tiffani Thiessen) put aside their differences and become friends again. Then Jake and team join Bones on a magical treasure hunt.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11
9:30 a.m. – Sofia the First “Princess Butterfly” – When Amber tries to use a magic spell to one up Sofia's costume for the All Hallows' Eve costume contest, she learns an important lesson about appreciating her sister instead of trying to outdo her.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18
9:00 a.m. – Mickey Mouse Clubhouse “Mickey's Super Adventure” – Professor Von Drake invents a machine to turn Mickey and the rest of the Clubhouse pals into superheroes after a mysterious super-villain threatens to shrink the Clubhouse. Mickey Mouse's legendary rival Mortimer Mouse makes a special appearance.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25
9:30 a.m. – Sofia the First “Great Aunt-Venture” – When Sofia is stuck spending the day with her quirky Aunt Tilly (voiced by Bonnie Hunt), she learns that there’s a lot more to Tilly than meets the eye.
