The streamer returns to the Star Wars galaxy with new series takes place before the events of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, when the rebellion against the Empire begins;’ originally slated for an August debut, the highly anticipated 3-episode launch has been pushed to September.

Disney+ has just released a new trailer, images, and key art for Lucasfilm’s Andor, an original 12-episode series set in a time before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. However, fans will have to wait an extra month; the show’s previously slated three-episode August debut has been pushed to Wednesday, September 21.

The Andor series focuses on Cassian Andor’s journey in the earliest stages of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Let's return again to a galaxy far, far away!

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor, joined by cast members Genevieve O’Reilly; Stellan Skarsgård; Adria Arjona; Denise Gough; Kyle Soller; and Fiona Shaw. Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luna, and Michelle Rejwan serve as executive producers. Tony Gilroy is the creator and serves as showrunner.

Hybride, ILM, and Soho VFX handle the show’s VFX.
