It seems Olaf hasn’t left the building yet as development of sequel to animated hit film is confirmed.
In an announcement that comes as no surprise to anyone with a pulse, Disney has officially announced that Frozen 2, the sequel to their 2013 Oscar-winning hit film, is in development.
According to John Lasseter, who along with Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger and actor Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf from the original film, shared the news at today’s Disney’s shareholder’s meeting, “We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.”
No production details or release date have been announced.
