Digital Animation for Freelance Producers Event Comes to U.K.

Digital Animation for Freelance Producers is six-day program exploring animation and CGI from a producers viewpoint.

The program includes evaluating all aspects of animation through design to delivery, budgeting and scheduling within a 3D environment, demystifying jargon, breaking down the roles within animation and CGI, and managing clients and artists within a 3D environment.

The program is aimed at freelance producers, production and facility managers currently working with the television, commercials and corporate markets. It will require knowledge of the production process from script to screen as well as the principles of budgeting and scheduling.

The event will be led by Sarah Cloutier, who has been working within the film and television industry in Australia and the U.K. for 20 years. Her most recent credits include the visual effects team on WHITE NOISE and digital post supervisor of animation for the Jim Henson Co.s FRANCES THE BADGER.

The event runs Feb. 10, 13-17, 2006, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. For more information, visit www.01zero-one.co.uk.
