Debuting just in time for summer vacation 2019, the new streaming platform will offer an extensive library of kid-friendly family viewing.
HALIFAX, NS – DHX Media has announced their new “Kids Room” streaming service, a subscription-based on demand platform scheduled to launch Summer 2019 on Comcast’s Xfinity X1, offering families an ad-free alternative for family viewing drawn exclusively from DHX Media’s extensive library of kid and family content.
X1 customers across the U.S. will be able to subscribe to and access the service over the Internet by saying “Kids Room” into their X1 voice remote, or by finding it within the networks section of Xfinity on Demand. X1 customers will be able to add Kids Room to their service for $4.99 per month. Kids Room will also be available on Xfinity Flex for Comcast’s Internet-only customers.
Families can choose from hundreds of episodes of great kid’s content, including such preschool favorites as Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, In the Night Garden, Teletubbies, Polly Pocket, and Strawberry Shortcake. Older kids will enjoy popular shows such as Slugterra, Kid vs. Kat, Chuck’s Choice, Endangered Species, Storm Hawks, Sabrina: The Animated Series and Angela Anaconda. More series will be added in the coming months.
