Depp, Disney Developing Night Stalker, Paul Revere Films

Disney and Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil are working together on two new films, reports Deadline.com.

Disney and Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil are working together on two new films, reports Deadline.com. The first project is an adaptation of the 1970s TV series THE NIGHT STALKER. In the 1972 tele-movie, tabloid reporter Carl Kolchak hunted down a serial killer who turned out to be a vampire. In the series, which starred Darren McGavin, the writer found himself investigating stories with a supernatural bent.

The second project is a big screen rendition of Paul Revere's midnight ride where he lit lanterns to warn the Colonial militia of a British attack. The story will take place during the 24 hours surrounding his ride from Charlestown to Lexington.

While Depp is eying starring roles in both, he will certainly produce with his Infinitum Nihil partner Christi Dembrowski. David Kennedy would exec produce THE NIGHT STALKER. Lee and Janet Batchler (BATMAN FOREVER) are penning the script for the Paul Revere film. Jon Brown and Infinitum Nihil's Margaret French-Isaac would exec produce.
