Empire Multimedia to launch Jo Rose Brands in China, South Korea and South East Asia.

LONDON -- Koko Rose Media and Empire Multimedia are pleased to announce the launch of Arts & Lifestyle brand Deer Little Forest and preschool brand Flora of the Forest at the Hong Kong Licensing Fair, where they will be presented to potential partners in China, South Korea and Southeast Asia.

Hubert Co, President of Empire Multimedia commented, “Deer Little Forest and Flora of the Forest are whimsical brands that are a natural for merchandise and promotional licensing in SEA and Greater China. The great artwork together with the timely back-to-nature and go-green themes will give products an added edge for 2017 and beyond. We know the best is yet to come!”

With offices across Asia and over 30 years of experience, Empire Multimedia is one of the largest and most respected licensing agencies in the region, representing TV shows, video games, corporate brands, feature films and personalities. In addition to traditional licensing, Empire Multimedia is known for its dynamic and multi-pronged approach to brand building through creative promotions, on-line marketing, competitions, QSR’s, and special events.

“We are thrilled that Deer Little Forest and Flora are being presented by such a renowned agency at this essential licensing show,” added Lisa Hryniewicz, Managing Director of Koko Rose Media. “We believe that Jo’s unique and distinct designs will have tremendous appeal in Asia, and are utterly confident that Empire is the company to make them a lasting success.”

Deer Little Forest is an Arts & Lifestyle brand created by Jo Rose featuring a collection of animal and nature inspired designs. Jo’s utterly unique illustration style, which won her a Henries’ Award nomination for Most Promising Artist/Designer, is created using an original combination of hand-drawn illustrations, cut outs, patterns and photography.

Launched as a licensing brand in 2013 at BLE, Deer Little Forest originally found popularity as greeting cards in high-end UK retailers such as Harrods, Liberty, John Lewis, Selfridges, Paperchase, and Rizzoli Book Shop in Somerset House. It has since grown from a greeting card design concept into an instantly recognizable Arts & Lifestyle brand across stationary, apps, homewares and publishing.

Some key Deer Little Forest licenses include: monthly activity pages in UK preschool activity magazines GET BUSY and BUSY TIME since February 2015, alongside such known brands as Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder and The Gruffalo; beautiful 18-game App featuring memory games, puzzles, greeting cards and a full digital book; and children’s lampshades in Germany.

Jo Rose is also the creator of Flora of the Forest (52 x 11), a preschool animation series in development with Executive Producer Karen Fowler (three time Emmy and Parent’s Choice Award winner) and King Rollo Films (multi-award winning studio behind international hit series Poppy Cat, Mama Mirabelle’s, Humf, Paz, and Maisy).

All Deer Little Forest and Flora of the Forest rights are held by Koko Rose Media, a joint venture between Managing Director Lisa Hryniewicz and Creative Director Jo Rose. International licensing rights are managed by: Icon Licensing (Russia & CIS); Brand Licensing by Burda (Germany and GST); and Think Tank Emporium (US & Canada).
