Dan Harmon Shares ‘Krapopolis’ Preview at Comic-Con 2022

Fans feast on first footage from the animated comedy during FOX Entertainment’s inaugural panel in support of the show.

Krapopolis, the upcoming FOX animated series from creator and executive producer Dan Harmon (co-creator of Rick and Morty), debuted its first look at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. The Krapopolis team also announced the network will air a special preview this coming November 22.

Set in mythical ancient Greece and featuring the voices of Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) and Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel), Krapopolis tells the story of a misfit family of humans, gods, and monsters that tries to run one of the first cities in human history… without killing each other.

The series will premiere on FOX in 2023. It also marks the first-ever animated series to be curated entirely on the blockchain by FOX Entertainment’s Web3 media company, Blockchain Creative Labs.

The Krapopolis creative team and voice actors - including Harmon, executive producer and showrunner Jordan Young, supervising director Pete Michels, and stars Berry, Murphy, and Trussell spent an hour sharing exclusive content from Krapopolis and discussing the team’s plans for the show.

Comic-Con attendees were also able to journey to the city of Krapopolis via a 70-foot slide, which took them all the way down to the center of the show’s outdoor activation. The immersive space also offered fans photo opportunities with the characters from the series, and a chance to enter a sweepstakes to win a trip for two to Greece.
