Digitaldesigners from all over the world are invited to participate inCut&Paste’s 2010 Digital Design Tournament. For its third global Digital Design Tournament, Cut&Pastewill build on the success of its 2009 world tour, hosting competitions in 2D,3D and Motion design in 10 cities worldwide, presenting the world’s top stagefor designers. Continuing to advance on the elevation and discovery of toptalent, Cut&Paste scouts the ten brightest design cities to challengecompetitors from all backgrounds across the globe to prove their talents onstage and in the spotlight. Cut&Paste will continue its core mission ofgathering a global design community through the design-as-spectator-sportapproach that it brings to 2D, 3D and Motion Design.

The Callfor Competitors opens to the public NOW. Entries will be reviewed based on quality of portfolios and select candidateswill be invited to an in-person “test round” to determine final selectionsfor the live city tournaments. Online entry deadline for the United States isSeptember 10h.The deadline for Europe, Asia and Latin America is October15th.  Cut&Paste wants YOU for Digital Design Tournament 2010

THETOUR

Cut&Pastewill begin its showcase of design’s rising stars in North America with tourstops in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco beforevisiting Europe in the cities of London and Berlin.Immediately following, Cut&Paste will make its debut in Latin Americawith stops in Mexico City and Sao Paulo, before travelingto Asia in Bangkok,Tokyo and Seoul.At every tour stop a Grand Prize winner will be selected in each category of2D, 3D and Motion Design, and chosen to compete in Cut&Paste's mostimpressive stage, the Global Championship inFebruary 2011. A total of 30 expenses-paid winners will journey to New YorkCity where the locally crowned champions will battle for top honors againstthe best the world has to offer.  Cut&Paste’s first live digital design tournament began as a singlecompetition in New York City in 2005. Since then, Cut&Paste has grownglobally and introduced the arenas of 3D and motion design to the tournament.2010 is expected to draw some of the best talent and biggest crowds to-date.
