Cuppa Coffee Launches Cuppa Stories

First project from new storytelling arm is a hyperreal stop-motion short film about World War I told using real audio from the perspective of an aged veteran.

TORONTO, ON -- Cuppa Coffee Studios has announced the launch of a new arm, called Cuppa Stories devoted to their unique new spin on this traditional art.

"It’s less about technique and more about the attitude, the Story is in the details. There’s a lot of loud, flashy technique driven content out there, but our work has taken us down a different path. As filmmakers, animators, writers and musicians, the team at Cuppa has evolved an animation style that is about portraying authentic human emotions with subtle, nuanced, human movements, attention to fine production details, and evocative lighting. It’s about honest filmmaking driven by some cool technology in the background,” commented Shaheen, President of Cuppa Coffee Studios

The first project from Cuppa Stories is an emotional short film about World War 1, told using real audio from the perspective of a wizened old veteran.

“Both our style and attitude has already courted a commission and our diverse team is ready to bring our unique vision to projects of any size from commercials to long form filmmaking,” added Shaheen.
